What to do in Portland, OR

HOW do you people get around here?!? The traffic is horrific!! Makes me want to just use my car as a battering ram.

I take the MAX (light rail) around

Well, we've learned to plan ahead and avoid certain areas at certain times.

Knowing the back roads helps too.

Since we shut down the freeway builds in the 60' and 70's that Federal money went into the light rail system, which had promise but was hamstrung by being built above ground and forced to chug through Downtown and much of the same traffic we're all stuck in.

I do my best to not go out before 9:30, and to be back by 3...
