Get dinner on the Hill.  Everyone has "their" favorite place but I like Zia's and Favazza's, Rigazzi's is a good one also and famous for the "fishbowl" giant drink.

If you can get their before they close for the day the Zoo is really great and Free.

My Mom speaks highly of the Art Museum.

Look up the City Museum and see if you think it would be something you would enjoy.  It's a bit "Kid focused" but it's INSANE and a neat walkthrough for kids of all ages.

The Busch Stadium (Cardinals baseball) District is neat if you are into that sort of thing.  The Busch brewery tour is kinda neat but very touristy now.

Also..  St Louis style Pizza.  It doesn't have "Cheese" on it, it has a US Government Recognized Cheese themed food product called Provel.  I think it's delicious (Sometimes), Some people HATE it.   It's unique and not common everywhere.   The crust is somewhat unique as is the sauce.  Again worth a try for the experience.

Dan, your post was excellent up until you spewed that mouth vomit about the pizza. Ironically, one of the ingredients of the pizza is vomit.

This. When someone from Chicago can E36 M3 on your pizza it's pretty bad.

Visit the Moto museum if you like funky vintage motorcycles.  The attached restaurant/bar is pretty meh, but the museum is cool and free.

The zoo/art museum are top notch, and both are free.  The Museum of Transportation is pretty cool, but tilts heavily towards trains.  If trains are your thing, it's well worth a look.

Breweries are abundant:  Four Hands, Perennial, Urban Chestnut, Side Project, Schlafly (Bottleworks or Tap Room,  both of which are going to be a short drive from you).     I'm forgetting some.  The Bud brewery tour is sorta interesting.

Now I want to try the pizza.

Death, taxes, and E36 M3ting on Imo's as soon as St. Louis is brought up.   Is it the best pizza in the world?  It is not.  It is perfectly edible, although shockingly expensive given that a single average sized guy can  eat a large by himself without much problem.
