I made some fine mulled cider for turkey day: local cider, dark rum, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, candied orange peel... Mmmm... Still have some left over, too.
Tonight was a surprisingly good Nero d'Avola from a wine distributer friend. Nice and funky and mineral-y. I like. I'll have to go down and check the label if anybody wants to know.
Later, it'll be Wild Turkey rye.
In reply to procker:
Burning River and Edmund Fitzgerald are two fantastic beers if I must toot that horn. Great Lakes just came to Pennsylvania not too long ago..
Water at the moment. I have been eagerly awaiting
For the TG holiday, Smithwick's.
When I was a little boy, growing up in Kilkenny, Ireland, we lived near the Smithwick's brewery.
You CAN go home again!
It's early and I'm a work. That means Mountian Dew. The Coke at the gas station fountian is always bad. However, there are 2 2-liters of Atlantas finest in the fridge at home..
Evan Williams and "Big K Diet Lemon Lime." $20 for a 1.75L jug. $1.99 for a 12-pack of the soda. You've got to be thrifty if you're going to drink like a Pro.
NyQuil.
If I wasn't sick out of my mind, it would be Scratch Beer #25 from my employer, a rye IPA (we made one long before Michelob did, and ours is better to boot). Nicknamed "Magical Mustache Rye," after the mustache contest the brewery has going.
I'm drinkin a whey protein shake. Mixed by hand and spoon, this E36 M3's CHUNKAY!
double brit, rocks. (been one of those days)
Rip It, the finest half assed energy drink the Army cares to provide free of cost! It is a tad early for drinking though (0635).
