I have a G37 and it's definitely a lot sportier of the 2. It's been spotless in reliability for both me and the prior owner with no visits back to the dealer and the only items being wear items.
If you are looking at the G37, get the 11 or later if you want an Auto as they reprogrammed the shifting program.
I fully expect to drive this car to it's grave.
My uncle quickly replaced his genesis with a 5 series. My dad replaced his 5 series with a g37.

Go for the G37. It's sportier, and doesn't have the dreaded GDI carbon-buildup.
