I know that there are some guys here from Maryland, so I thought I'd ask. My brother and I may go to Annapolis for an event next week. We we're thinking about going a little early to walk around for a few hours and check the place out. I'm sure it's beautiful in the summer, but I'm wondering if it will be miserable in January.
It's anywhere from mildly warm to bitter cold from the wind over the water (this is Maryland, weather can be anything), somewhat less full of tourists and sometimes this guy screams about jesus with a microphone downtown in front of Armadillo's. As far as beauty goes, some dirty piles of snow might bring down your scenery of old roads and buildings, but it's not much different. Annapolis is more "kind of cool" in an old E36 M3 sense than beautiful.
I live like 5 minutes from there.

Annapolis is a lot more than just the tiny bit known as downtown. Where exactly in the much larger area known as Annapolis are you going to be for these few hours?
