All this talk of Moon Pies and Master Cylinders takes me back to my youth (different ages of course...).

Snack Food and Beer Section? I guess that's the Oldsmobile equivalent? Or is it Hummer? Or are we still working down the line of Little Debbie and Hostess snacks? Ugh!

Man I love those things. One of the great things about living in California. They are the ultimate ice-cream sandwich. I love the ones with mint ice cream. They have no right to be as good as they are.

I have never seen an It's-it for sale anywhere outside of an hour's drive of San Francisco. It's the one thing I miss about living in California.

They had them at the cafeterias at CSU Monterey. I've found them at Safeway in Sacramento.
I saw It's-iIts in an ice cream chest in some little store on the big island of Hawaii. Also, they can be found in SoCal but you have to dig. By the way, the Yankee equivalent of the Moon Pie was called the Scooter Pie. It tasted better than Moon Pies.

No more calls please, we have a winner. I used to pick up a box of crumb donuts every morning going into the shop. If I had two out of a box of eight I was lucky, and most days I worked by myself.
