This stoopid Italian motorcycle! Between purchasing it used, repairs, and upkeep to ride it a few weekends a year, I'm into it for nice new motorcycle money.
On top of all that, many days it still doesn't run right, it is terrible for riding long distances, despite having EFI and electric-start, it doesn't start/re-start reliably, it isn't happy around town, needs constant mechanical upkeep, and it doesn't work well when ridden gently!
I dreamed of it for a while before purchasing, and I can't replace it with anything else, because there is nothing comparable. No other company has made a lightweight v-twin Supermoto like this Aprilia SXV. 70hp from an engine/trans combo that weighs 60 pounds! The bike is under 300 pounds at the curb with a full tank!
I love the looks, the sound, and the riding experience when it is running right and the roads are clear is so exceptionally amazing!

I spend an incredible amount of money on my bicycle hobby. To the point any one of my bikes cost more than either my Triumph GT6 or Spitfire. In the case of the Spitfire - by a LOT. But riding bikes is what keeps me sane. More so than my car or my guitar hobbies.
Hey I just did that! Granted it's not mtb, which gets way scarier way faster, but I built a grail BMX....and once you push the profile button, there's really no going back.

Lagavulin or die
Laphroaig is pretty great too.
Laphroaig tastes like it sounds.

If I can finally go through with my threat to try BMX racing again (closest track is an hour away), I could see a new BMX bike added to the stable. For now, my 1999 Gary Fisher Lush Rush gets the job done. I keep it around because I've had it forever and I prefer the 20" when I occasionally ride pump tracks. For whatever reason, I can hop off my huge 29er enduro bike and onto my 20" wheel BMX bike and it feels natural.
When I first started trying whisky a couple of years ago, I would never paid $90 for a bottle. Now, I could see it.

I don't think "Laphroaig" is pronounced like Awesome, so not entirely accurate
It makes the best Godfathers too

Slimy and a bit confusing?

In our 70s, our nuts aren't worth as much as they used to be.
On the food/drink theme, I did think of one thing I'd pay stoopid money for.
A grocery store near me stocks them occasionally, and when they have them, I pick up a couple each trip. I have no idea what the price is, I'm sure I'd pay well over what they charge. I tend to stock up when I make trips to the south.

I remember a few years ago being in the city and wanting to go to Katz's. I had been there in High School, but these days the wait is insane. I left empty handed. At the time there was still a Katz's in Austin TX, so I used it as an excuse to go visit some friends down there and get a Pastrami on Rye. So I guess I paid about $1000 for a sammich and fries, although there were other motivations.

I realizing I'm oversharing... but I'm a GooGoo virgin. Never had one.
Highly recommend getting them next time you hit the challenge. Peanut butter is my favorite flavor, but the the regular ones, and the pecan ones are pretty good, too. They also have one with coconut in it, but I avoid those.
