Heat? Chemicals? Scraper? Shotgun?

And patience. It takes a while. One of my least favorite things about 944s is that film in front of the rear wheel well.
Will heat and a plastic scraper get it all off? I understand that there is a glue left behind after you get the film off.

It's been a while since I did it, but I seem to remember using Goo Gone or some other solvent to clean up the last of the glue.
Use a heat gun (carefully) or a hair dryer to soften and remove the film. Use 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner to remove any residue afterwards, it should be available at any auto parts store.
