And patience. It takes a while. One of my least favorite things about 944s is that film in front of the rear wheel well.

Will heat and a plastic scraper get it all off?  I understand that there is a glue left behind after you get the film off.

It's been a while since I did it, but I seem to remember using Goo Gone or some other solvent to clean up the last of the glue.

Use a heat gun (carefully) or a hair dryer to soften and remove the film.  Use 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner to remove any residue afterwards, it should be available at any auto parts store.

IIRC 3m makes a wheel that attaches to drill for removing vinyl trim.  That might be worth a try.
