Just remove the light bulb.
But seriously, if you have to clean one, I am sorry.
I have wheeled mine out on the back porch and blasted it with a 2700 psi pressure washer. Looked brand new.
Hot, soapy water. Take the shelves and racks and stuff out and go to it. It's actually not as bad as you might think.
I don't know what you guys are doing to your refrigerators, but mine cleans up pretty well with a damp rag.

That was my father's favorite method until I was able to throw an upper 80s fastball by my sophmore year of high school. At that time my method of cleaning the mini fridge in the garage was to remove the shelf, sit it on top of the empty boat trailer and throw an unopened box of baking soda at it from about 8-10 ft away and then spray some water in it and place it door side down to dry. That all stopped one Saturday when the box of baking soda broke the inner back panel of the fridge.
