What's up with Gary Busey?

Watching the latest Apprentice show..........wasn't a cool dude once?

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

He hit his head during a motorcycle accident or something like that. I just remember hearing he had a bad motorcycle crash and he ain't been right since.

His skull was fractured, and doctors feared he suffered permanent brain damage.[11] At Pinsky's recommendation, Busey was seen at the facility by psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy. Sophy suspected that Busey's brain injury has had a greater effect on him than realized. He described it as essentially weakening his mental "filters" and causing him to speak and act impulsively. He recommended Busey take a medication called Depakote, to which he agreed.[12]

IIRC, Lethal Weapon was the last movie he made before the accident.

He is great to watch, truly unpredictable.

I've never cared for The Apprentice, and the celebrity editions are THE worst of the lot, and judging by the commercials, the producers have gone WAAAY past "scraping the bottom of the barrel", and are now digging a new foundation for some high rise in Manhatten....so to speak.

Yeah--he was staunchly anti-helmet laws and hten he smashed his head into a curb. Add a dumptruck of cocaine to the mix and you've got what he is today.

Wait this happened in '88? What year did Under Siege come out? He seemed "normal" in that movie.
