They're cheap because they're common, un-special and they guzzle gas like there's no tomorrow. See also: Suburban (which it shares a platform with IIRC).

Thankfully, these share nothing with Suburbans. These are Expeditions, which also aren't desirable and always feel like they're coming apart.
