I think there are possibly 4 Jeep builds right now in the projects section, two Cherokees and two Grand Cherokees.

I don't know why the sudden surge, but I love it!  I love Jeeps and, I'm known elsewhere on the 'net as Jeepaholic, so this floats my boat.

I have a feeling you'll be seeing at least one more Jeep build thread in the coming weeks....

They seem to be a good value right now, particularly the GCs. And Lord knows, there's nothing we all love more than a "value," especially if it's known for quirky problems and gremlinny electrical systems.

Hey DrBoost, good hearing from ya !

If it helps any, my wife and I are looking to buy a Wrangler as soon as we find a nice one in budget.  I suppose there will be a minor build thread there... should be fun. Apartment dwelling and no garage while living outskirts of the city. Should be a blast

I know what he bought.  I also know it isnt a REAL Jeep because it doesn't have round headlights.cheeky

My friend at worked picked up a second gen GC that he's using as a winter beater.  I've been enjoying his updates on his project.  I've never owned a jeep, but one is on the bucket list.

Well in my case I really wanted a Jeep (not a real Jeep apparently since no round headlights) for winter up here in the Great White North, thus this build started in the late fall so it should be ready by January.

You'll need to log in to post.
