whats your bucket list cars?

I mean within reason, not very many of us can reasonably think we will ever get hold of a veyron, mine would be an 88 bmw m5, a restomod willys jeep (tastefully done not jacked up through the roof brodozer style), a 64 spitfire 4 and an early opel gt.

510 comes to mind.
FD RX-7 was on the list until I figured out that I don't fit.

To buy or to drive?

If it's drive, my list has gotten awful damn short in the last couple years :)

If I ever climb out of this financial hellhole, I'd like to have a FFR Cobra. Not a show car but a good driver.

When I was in elementary school my neighbors had a foxbody 5.0 Mustang and an Fc RX-7. I've had a soft spot for those since then.

I used to have a bunch. Lately I don't really care as much as I used to. I don't know why. Currently I'd like to try an XKR or a later C4 Vette. Or maybe one of the early to mid 90's Japanese halo cars.

Well, the 'Cuda may give you problems, a Hemi Cuda 4-speed convertible just set an auction record today at $3.5 million. Now every Joe Dirt out there will want that for his slant-six barracuda.

I don't have cars to own on my bucket list since the ones I want are hitting unobtainuim prices now. Toyota 2000GT's are over a million now and I haven't been able to afford a Miura for quite a while.

I will leave room in my garage for a Moto Guzzi V1000 Lemans and an Indian Four though.

NSX, Skyline GTR R32-R34, Autech Stagea, 22B STI, Escort Cosworth, Pulsar GTIR, RWD or AWD Alfa Romeo or some kind, Delta Integrale, Renault Clio V6, AMC AMX (the 2 seater, not the Javelin).

I play on buying/selling a few of these in the next 15 years. Especially one of those Rally cars and the Clio V6.

Clio V6 to me is the king of all hot hatches. Mid engine RWD car.

Some derivative of a 5 ton 6x6. M939? M923? It seems like these are not too hard to come by and a decent runner costs no more than a older family sedan. Now consumables/spares? Along with fueling the beast? Bucket list territory

• An original Austin Cooper S with a 1275

• A Bugeyed Sprite with period updates including a 1275, disc brakes and 5 speed trans.

• A Lotus Super 7 or derivative. Not the latest greatest version but a Ford Kent cross flow with Webers. I would be satisfied with a well-built replica.

• I still haven't owned a Miata . . .

I want a Ferrari 612. I'm not sure they'll depreciate to where I want to pay for one. It looks like the 456 is going to hit a sweet spot in the next decade or so. I'm saving a garage space.

1. General Lee replica resto-mod with a GenIII Hemi/6 spd.

2. A Sylvia J15 (Galekmotorsports.com) built as close as possible to B-Mod rules while remaining street legal.

3. I've recently had an hankering for a custom chopper I build myself, but using a BMW MC base rather than something like a H-D or S&S.

4. Custom Sprinter RV (this will likely happen first)

5. Morgan (or home built copy) 3-wheeler

This is all bearing in mind I already have a pretty decent fleet of cars now: '64 Mini, '72 GT6 & '73 1800ES plus a couple of daily drivers. I'd really like a F-car of some sort: a 328 or a 550, but I don't know it'll happen.

I did, and even had some really cool Alfas. Having owned cars since I was young, my mid-life crisis car stuff has been more about parting with them vs. getting more of them.

Or just realizing that the one Alfa that we've really loved is just what we need. Which would be a '73 GTV.

Tasteful, clean EVO with no stickers or wings, but 500hp and the suspension and tires to back it up.

Audi Allroad, basically unmolested with low miles and the twin-turbo.

1999 M3. Look stock on the outside, full cage inside, stock power levels, but the ability to pull well over 1G on the street.

Pontiac G8 GT. Perhaps with a supercharger.

For me that one would be easy there is a place right over the state line that has stacks of everything for old military rigs. Hell same guy owns a bar across the road and his company car is an honest to god full military Hummer from before they started shredding them instead of selling to civilians.
