And must be SFW....

I like The Curse of Oak Island. It bugs me because it is so dragged out and the narrator is on repeat, but I still watch. I really do want to find out what happened there though.

The only thing i can think of is this.  What do almost all boys like to do when they are kids?  Dig in the dirt with toys looking for treasure.  This show is those kids all grown up and rich.

I watched two seasons of oak island then I actually wrote down what they REALLY found during those two seasons and it was mostly the stuff that I would find metal detecting on a beach so I gave it up.

Simpsons; still love it

It used to be "Phineas and Ferb", but when they stopped with new episodes I moved on. I'll still stop and watch if I roll past it when channel surfing.

Now it tends to be "Mom", "Last man standing", and the last few weeks it's been BBC world news.

I never watch television, but my wife does.  So sometimes I'll sit down next to her and chill for awhile.  Most of her shows I can't watch, but I do enjoy Mom.  Allison Janney is a hoot, and it's funny to see her in that role after getting to know her in her role on The West Wing, which I actually watched back in the day.

And I can watch Tim Allen shows, so Last Man Standing holds my interest a little.  I do like that he has Jay Leno on there.

In reply to PMRacing :

I came here to say Oak Island.

I'm pretty sure I figured out what happened there more than a year ago, but I still find it fascinating, even though I don't think there was ever any treasure there.

Archer :) Hey, I'm working from home. It's SFW.

I don't miss an episode of Bake Off, though. And I've been binging various Channel 4 panel shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Would I Lie To You.

I walked into my first day at a fairly cutting edge wireless services company (we were the first to deliver email to phones over SMS!) and one of the guys had a  calendar on the wall with a yellow Road Runner. I said "oooh, that's just like the one Daisy Duke had before the boys drove it off a cliff!". This was in 1996 or so, when the only way to watch the Dukes was to tape it off TNN.

Sometimes, you just shouldn't share too much information in the new workplace.

Legends of Tomorrow - With all the grimdark, gritty superhero stuff out there, I love that it's a sci-fi/superhero show that doesn't take itself to seriously, but somehow still has some depth and a heart.

There is something about Kitchen Nightmares that I can't turn away from.  I can pretty much tell how every episode is going to go, and I know it's all pretty phony, but I just live for those moments where Gordon exclaims "We're in the E36 M3!".  Or that pensive "berkeley me" that he'll deliver a couple times per show.

JAG / NCIS - They started out like Tom Clancy meets Law and Order.  At this point, pretty much all the good actors and the characters I care about are gone and the storylines are basically warmed up in the microwave.  But I can't help myself - at least hometown-boy-makes-good Rocky Carroll is still on.

Chuck - Campy, sure, but there was some halfway decent writing and character development buried in there.

Magnum P.I. - It is surprising to me how well the original series has aged.  I also can't help but watch the new one.

Highlander (the TV series.  Loved the first movie as well, but that's just damned good cinema, not a guilty pleasure!)

Nikita - I'm gonna watch anything with Maggie Q.  Melinda Clarke and Xander Berkeley are icing on that cake.

I also have to take issue with some of the other titles mentioned.  Dollhouse, Firefly, Burn Notice, Blacklist, a couple others:  Those are just objectively good, no guilt involved in enjoying those!
