So...I've sold the racing Kart (which came in trade for a CB750 that was acquired in trade for an old pickup truck...) and have a bit of play money in my pocket.
In the past 48-72 hours I've run across several potential and interesting deals:
$650 '79 El Camino. "Just needs Radiator." I don't really want this, I just want it. I see resale potential.
$550 '79 Cutlass. Straight but in overall rough shape. I really want a G body.
$500 '67 Falcon. Won't pass inspection and apparently the seller doesn't realize the loophole that is "Historic Tags." I'm simultaneously trying to talk myself into being interested in this and talk myself out of it at the same time. Hard to explain. There's just something about cars in the '60s that make me excited.
$700 '87 Supra. Blew a head gasket and sat for 2 years. Just when I thought I'd had my fill of RWD Toyotai...this comes along. If it can be had for $300, it might find it's way onto my trailer tonight. I dunno...
I don't really know what the point of this post is. Not to gloat, certianly. I was mostly just surprised at the number of potential deals that came along in such a short amount of time, while I have cash, that I'm really interested in, and in a broad spectrum...
Funny,
Clem
Funny, I only see those when I don't have any money or time.

My car A.D.D. has been kicking in overdrive lately, too. I'm trying to keep to only one non-running vehicle at a time. Buy with reckless abandon and post lots of pics!

Precisely. Man, now is a killer time to score some cheap toys, as everyone's selling their toys off. Unfortunately, I'm a seller and not a buyer.
I forgot to list the '83 Capri with "bad engine and transmission." The seller is asking too much...but letting it brew.

I hear ya. I've been selling them off like crazy lately. I've also found some smokin' deals that I can't have. I think the two best that I've found (and had to pass on) for resale potential would be the really clean 325i convertible with an oil leak for $500 and the '03 Passat (that freakin' looks brand new!) with 60k miles, needs engine work for less than $2k.
You want the Olds...you know you need the Olds...

You know, I haven't touched the Tempest in over a month & that pile of Miata parts you have sure interests me....how much cash are you looking to spend?
