just got a blackberry bold 9930 for work, and i have no idea how powerful it may be. anyone care to point me in the right direction?

You probably have 30 days to be unhappy enough with it to return it for iPhone5.

Not that powerful, if you've had a smartphone before there's nothing new to this one. In fact if you've had a good smartphone before the Blackberry's a pretty big downgrade.

What you do need to learn is the details of the convoluted, highly unintuitive menu interface.

Hopefully they're waiting for the new ones which finally have some form of business-oriented management tools. That was RIM's bread n' butter, selling a phone that isn't just an unmanageable rogue device.

Yes noone will be switching until the 5 is available. We have run trials with 4's and of course iPads are proliferating around here. There's some decent management software out there which keeps them from being unmanageable, but I couldn't give you the specifics on what we're using, seems to work though.
