We've always been more partial to a bit further North for our beach-oriented vacationing, but any getaway is good in my opinion!

Ya, welcome to FL ! We had some nasty weather the past few days.
Lightening hit the pole in front of my house Sat., ceramic insulator blew apart coming down in shower of sparks. The poles a little scorched on the top and the ground wire blew out. The "on call" weekend guy came and looked at it and put it on the regular service list for repair later in the week. It was LOUD when it hit!
Anyone near enough to Melbourne they want to visit, we’ll be here until Monday.
And if there is a local autocross this weekend i’d love to come out and dodge some cones with you.

I’ll find out and get back to you. For us it’s (are you ready for this) free. My brothers’ wifes’ godparents let them and anyone they share it with use the place. So there are two family’s in residence at the moment but that seems a small price to pay to stay for free.
(usual price is $4,400 a week I was told)
