Boosted rotary solves all noise problems. Even when the car isn't running. Might have something to do with the ringing in the ears. 
I took the RX-7 for a spin with nothing but Racing Beat headers. Nice straight causeway, 7000 RPM shifts, my ears rang for two days. No one in Mt. Pleasant slept late that Saturday morning.
