It runs and the prop spins. Linkage beside the carb was loose. In all honesty I probably knocked it loose when I pulled the carbs to clean them.

You do realize that to "float test" something is to dump it overboard to throw it away... as in "it failed the float test"
I did not know that was what float test meant. I thought that meant see if it floats. Although it is insured so if it sinks...
First, a Bass Tracker holds a surprising amount of water when you forget to put the plug in. Second a windy day is not the day for a test float. And third somehow I have an ant infestation on the boat.
Other than that it went good. Outboard and trolling motor both work. (I gotta figure out the trim issue.) And I need to kill the rest of the ants.
And my kid had fun so that's all that matters

I've been around boats for 40+ years and that's the first time I've heard that. I wonder if it's regional or possibly a Navy thing.
