umm, this is from a 777? looks more like it came from an automobile to me...

i dunno... that could be a mid engine trans... the plane seems to have mid engines... just saying...

I guess that could be some kind of gearbox for a hydraulic actuator (?); looks like the input or output shaft on the left is a worm gear. Maybe Hungary Bill or someone else knowlegable in big airplane systems will have some input.
