I'm working on a gift idea to print out a family picture from my phone to put in a nice frame. How would I go about or where would I go to do this?

My local cvs has a print and computer setup. They've got about a dozen usb cables plus Bluetooth. It starts like $0.25 a print and you can make all kinds of projects from there.

I've done them with walmart.  You can go online, upload the pictures, edit however you'd like, and either pickup in store or they'll ship them to you.  I think the last time I did it if you wanted matte finish you had to have them shipped but gloss was available for pickup same day.

Costco also is a good option, if you’re a member, and they have coupons from time to time.

I've used the Walgreens app from my Android phones over the years with mostly excellent results.

Costco will print from optical disk or a USB drive

SWMBO uses the walgreens app for Android.  There are usually 50% off promotions, etc...so look for discount codes on the website.

The wife works at a UPS Store and does stuff like that all the time. Along with lots of graphic design, canvases etc

The quality of product from AdoramaPix is very good. They also offer quite a number of paper options, which is more important to the look of the finished product than many people realize.

I've used every one of the mentioned options.

How big are you looking to go?

Do you want a glossy or matte finish?

Are you planning on framing it yourself?

I'll also throw out there that Fracture exists.

I had one of these made for my mom from of a picture of my daughter. Came out really nice and it eliminates the need for the frame.

I've used Walgreens with great results.  Also if you have some time to wait for shipping and processing Snapfish also works.  For large poster work I think id rather choose Walgreens as I can look it over and pick it up.

You'll need to log in to post.
