How much brake dust is thrown from your brake pads of choice?

That color is fine. Flat black rustoleum gas grill paint is what I use. Pressure wash & paint just before unmounting a set corded race tires about once a season.

Viola...

You just wanted to show off your car As you should. I love your version of the M-colors.

Think about the look you're after. Are you shooting for Batman (black) or James Bond (silver)? There's your answer.

Personally, I've always liked silver on a dark colored car, but that could be because the Batsuit always looked like it would be really hot to wear.

Black wheels look like E36 M3. Not The E36 M3. Just E36 M3.

This. Especially on a dark car.

Because black wheels are duller than a Camry in Toyota Retirement Gold paint with a tan interior. You at least need a polished lip so it doesn't just look like a giant licorice bagel stuck on the car.

If you insist. If you really want to stop being my friend: I don't really like black cars, either. You can't see any of the detail. And don't get me started on black cars with black wheels and limo tint. You might as well just wear a sign that says "I Wish I Was Neo".

[edit] For what it's worth, your car would be Teh Hawtness if you picked one of the two blues and did your wheels in that color. Or maybe do the front wheels in the lighter blue and the rears in the darker.

Those wheels have been black, silver, green, purple, red and now black again. I'm pretty much color agnostic - I just paint them with whatever I grab depending on the mood I'm in when it's time to wire wheel the rusty brake dust off and put new tires on.

I am diggin' the black on black on the race car right now - but maybe I'll match the light blue next time around just to appease you .

Any OSHA Safety color would look great (I'm partial to purple and green).

I like to use high-impact cement floor paint for industrial use. That way you KNOW it won't chip off.

The stuff they use to paint those yellow/orange lines on factory floors is a good wheel color.
