First, I don't actually own these (yet). Saw these on FB marketplace (Classic Chevy Wheels) and, as stupid as it sounds, I want to buy them. I haven't owned a car they will actually fit since 1990. The cheap/Dutch/sensible part of me will probably win, but I've always wanted a set of these:
I just figured you all would understand.
Several times I've bought wheels for a car before I've owned the car. Perfectly reasonable move ;)

I have a set of 98 neon acr bubble rims still, from the car I bought brand new back then.
Keeping for the day I have another one....If I can find one that is not a pile of rust.
I will let them go for cheap to some one restoring an acr.
I've got a set of Volvo pattern, 16", BBS RX in the attic, that I've had for 7+ years. I've moved them across the country, 700 miles (twice) and never mounted them on a car.
I may have a problem.
I can't remember.
Note: photo may be blurry and not show all available wheels and tires.
I thought that was a requirement to be part of this forum?
I have 2 full sets of 2nd gen Dodge truck wheels and I gave my last Dodge truck away. I also still have a full set of 16" SN95 Mustang wheels and no Mustang.
This is probably the first time since ~2003 where I only have 4 automotive wheels in my garage and they are all bolted to my car.
I'm somewhere around evan's picture except they're in the garage, behind the garage, in 3 trailers, in front of the garage, in the harbor freight garage, in the basement, in my dad's garage, in my dad's barn.

Im legitimately restoring a lapis blue acr. 1997. Where are you? The bubble wheels i bought this car with the first time are long gone.
Also, i downsized. I think im down to only 6 or 8 extra sets of wheels right now
I have a set of 19" BMW wheels and I don't have any BMW's.
I can't seem to sell them after several tries. So I don't think they count since I don't actually want them.
I was going to say so many. Then I saw Evans picture and realized I am a rank amateur.
oh, and those wheels you're interested in are sweeeeeet.
In reply to dculberson :
At one point, a LOOOOOOONG time ago, I hoped to buy my grandma's old 72 Nova and hoped I could find a set of these to replace the "half moons" it had on it. As luck (or lack thereof) would have it, the car ended up getting sold to someone other than me, so the plan fell apart. Imagine the above wheels on pretty much this exact car:
Yeah. I got 6 wheels for a 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo.
I might have a couple left but most of them I have gotten rid of.
I know there is a set of Impala SS whéels floating around here. There may be others.
No idea what you're talking about.
I’ve got a set of brand new takeoff alloys for a ‘94-‘97 Miata and a set of 18” 911 wheels that fit a car that I have never owned.

My FIL may need some wheels for his Dodge D150. The steelies he has on there are looking a bit haggard.
Oh, and to answer the question: I have cracked wheels for a car I no longer own. They're fodder for the foundry, though.
Who has wheels they don't own in their garage currently?
Those are technically my buddy's...
