I got one about two weeks ago, to help in my training to get back into the racecar. I see I can battle others who have them. So... who's got one?

I'm up. It's amazing to see how many steps I take when walking around our warehouse or how little I take when driving around on sales calls.

I've got a Garmin Forerunner 235 that does steps along with being a running/cycling/hrm/gps watch. We would all have to use a non-brand specific site like Strava or MyFitnesspal or something to be able to compare across vendors though.

I've had one since my episode with SVT (not to be confused with Special Vehicle Team ... I have one of those too) earlier in the year. Annie got it for me to monitor my heart rate. It's also good for counting steps. I try to put in at least 10-12K steps a day. I wear it on my dominant right wrist and an old school analog watch on my left. The step counting can be a little wonky at times. I've noticed it counted speed bumps as steps on at least one occasion, and the other night I was sitting on the couch eating popcorn, and it recorded steps for me each time I fed myself a handful. Convenient.

Incidentally, the heart rate monitor feature is accurate. I checked it against an EKG yesterday, and it was one beat different than the machine.

FWIW I walked 18,000 steps yesterday at Disneyland.

Mine has started falling apart so I stopped wearing it.

If you email them, they will send you a new one. I've done it twice now.

I would have to look it up, but I think I'm at about 16 months. I'll probably get another one, but not until after Xmas.

They never even asked me when I bought mine. Might be worth a shot.

Mrs. DX has wanted one for tracking steps but has done the same thing with a free app on her phone.

They did ask how old mine was, and since it was out of warranty, I got a 25% discount instead of replacement. Better then a kick in the crotch...

I just bought a Blaze and love it. The heart rate and sleep tracking are pretty cool.

I don't get the obsession with this stuff? I want fewer data points in my life, not more.

The people I know that have these devices are the people that least need/use them. People like gadgets, but because of what they are, I refuse to pay money to become the product. I have a tracker, but it does not link up to anything.
