My 16 y/o daughter Sarah would cheeky

BTW, she dislocated a knee two weeks ago (crutches cropped out) and pressed ahead anyway as rescheduling would have set her back months.

Look out world, you've got a little bada$$ coming up.

I'm not in marketing but I can rock a little click bait if need be.

GRM is dad approved and I'm encouraging the next generation to join the hive...thank you so much for creating a wonderful community!

As a DE instructor I suggest you check out Andy Pilgrim's Traffic Safety Education Foundation for some great information and videos. Just getting a license doesn't make one a driver. Practice, reflection, and intention combined with time do.

Congrats! Any kid shows up to my class with a GRM shirt moves to the head of the class!

Much research shows that such schools can lead to an over estimation of skills. Be careful to monitor their driving habits and more importantly their attitude followong the school. I like the schools and have coached at a few. But there needs to be regular follow up and reflection. Once a year is a good idea to reinforce skills.

The sad part of this story is that because she injured her knee (clutch knee), she lost the potential to take here driving test in this (she was doing very well learning in it) sad

It would have been very entertaining to see the instructors reaction.

If like around here, they may have tried to fail her during the vehicle inspection sighting that the white reverse lamps don't work.

Would they really know they didn't become federally mandated until 1966.

John,

That almost happened to me when I took my driving test. We just got back from spending a couple weeks with my uncle painting my 1965 Mustang. We didn't have the 2 backup lights installed because we were waiting on the new body gaskets for it. (Back ordered of course) The tester stopped and stared at the back of the car for awhile before getting in. She asked, What was suppose to go into the empty holes.....I said the exhaust. She passed me with no problems.

RX.

That's awesome. Good for her. I just gave my nephew his first car last week and it sounds like he is picking up driving a stick shift pretty well so far.

I fully expect my youngest daughter to emulate this!  She has already commandeered all my GRM shirts!

Hive, just so you know, Aircooled has been Sarah's official godfather since birth and he has done a fantastic job of godfathering.

Please join me in slathering him with well deserved "plus one's".
