So this morning went from "it's nice to wake up with a little rain" to "wholly **** get to the closet" REAL FAST.
Started at like 6:45am with some heavy rain. Then the wind picked up like crazy, my Weber went flying and I'm peeking out of my closet through the bedroom at a gray sky with trees branches dancing across the yard. Then the sky lit up orange which I assume was from a transformer going out. 30 seconds later it calms down and the sun starts to shine.
My chain link fence kind of fell over but I think mostly from the wet ground and the heavy ass vines my neighbor has growing on it. We also lost the top 40% of one of the royal poinciana trees (I think that's what it is) in my backyard. I'm more upset about the tree than the weber/fence because that tree provided lots of shade and looked really cool. The first couple pictures are of the tree. Do you think if I trimmed all the parts where the branches ripped off it would grow back?
My neighbors had it worse. One guy is missing 80% of his wooden fence and there are some MONSTER oaks that fell down....luckily not on anyone's house.
