Who's got Instagram?

I know many of you guys don't like social media crap, but I like Instagram. I also know that real photographers criticize it for making amateurs think they can take professional pics with a smart phone. I've had it for a few years and yes I take pictures of food, my dogs, cars, architecture, and the occasional artsy shot.

If you have Instagram, my handle is the same as here SyntheticBlinkerFluid.

It would be cool to see what else you guys take pictures of.

If you want to see blurry photos of my cars, beer, breakfast items, music stuff, and my face as viewed from an arms length away, feel free to add me. Mr_Estrotica.

Use it less than FB for sharing pics. Mostly random car stuff, with a few shots of the dog.

Edit: The board doesn't like the underscores on either end of my initials. Link above points correctly.

The instagram filters makes my head want to explode by looking at anything Instagram.

And then there's the automatic FB repost so your account explodes with inane pics if you friend anyone with Instagram.

Maybe it's the users, but I've banned several good friends for using instagram.

You have to opt-in to cross-posting to FB. I've kept my account separate for that reason.

A) the filters are an option, you just have douchey friends.

B) I don't have a FB, nor do I get the need to post everything to every possible social media site ever.

C) IG is a dirty trap that will suck you in.

I used the filters at first to be all artsy, then I eventually used them to make the pictures just look better.

You don't have to post things to Facebook, I don't.

I like IG for the picture only aspect of it (as opposed to Facebooks general ramblings) and you can follow people who put neat project updates and other event photos up from places I can't attend.

rallyxguy here. As the description says, just silly photos of my cars, the pets, futurewife, and assorted other things. Right now I'm doing the JDMPhotoaday challenge, silly but fun.
