I hate it too... and i REALLY hate it on Ebay.

But that being said, it's also helped me score some RIDICULOUS deals on Ebay.

You think most people would look for old school HKS tuning parts in the "ATV" section of Ebay motors? Nope. However, i will.

Simple, most are morons and liars, computers are far too easy to operate. Just today I wasted $15 in fuel to go look at a car that turned out to be a completely rotted out hooptie with no locks and nasty seats. This guys "some rust in the rear door jambs" was actually half the rear wheel tub area gone, no rockers, paper thin floors, and bad front bulkheads. Not to mention the creative photography to hide the horrible tears in the front seat.

I expect people to lie about what they are selling... I just don't want people to post floor mats, wheels, brand new used water pumps and the like in the car section... whew

Oh man I have a few CL stories.

One of them I went to look at a described as "like new, no tears, no stains, etc" split bench seat for my old g body Regal. I called the guy on a Saturday and he said yes it was all the ad made it to be and was still available, Next day I drove 50 miles one way to look at it. I get there and I see it sitting outside on the deck adjacent to the sellers house. It does look nice and as described. However upon closer inspection I saw it was soaking wet from a morning rainfall not just damp but water ran out like when squeezing a sponge. The guy said "oh it will dry out in front of a fan" He seemed baffled when I said I wouldn't buy it as is. I saw he had a plastic tarp nearby he easily could have covered the seat with but he didn't.
