Google Chrome pissed me off a few months ago to the point that I switched to Firefox. All good. Except that it will randomly capitalize a word like I'm starting a new sentence. It only seems to happen after I use one of the word suggestions. But not always. And it more likely the more obscure the word is. Strangely, that space will capitalize, even if I change the word completely. Of course, my plan was to take a few screenshots while I was typing this...and not once did it do it. Is this just something to work through? Analogous to Firefox? Jesus,  this is annoying .

I use Firefox almost exclusively and have never seen that on a desktop OS, on phones this often happens due to the default keyboard settings.

I haven't changed any of the settings switching between Chrome And Firefox. Also it only does this on GRM.

I took screenshots while I typed this out. You can see here where it will randomly caps lock. This is on a Galaxy S8.

Firefox on IOS does weird E36 M3 on GRM too.  Mostly it's related to autocorrect.

If I type period and space and then return, I get a single line return. If I delete the space after the period before entering the return, I get a normal double-line paragraph break, but it doesn't auto-capitalize the new line. But if I type a space on the new line, it does then auto-cap the next word.

I just chalk it up to GRM's artisanally-crafted board software.

Um, I think that's the autocorrect correcting the names for products (Chrome and Firefox should be capitalized).  I don't see where the Caps Lock is on, just the shift, which would be correct for starting a new sentence.

In reply to Stefan (Forum Supporter) :

For my phone, an outlined shift arrow is a single letter, a filled in shift arrow is caps lock.  YMMV.

Lets see if I can get it to do it.

It caps locked the next space. "I" the word I wanted wasn't even suggested.

The next word I wanted, "it" doesn't appear, the key pad then goes to caps. I think I'm doing a crap job of explaining this
