They can't deliver things in the time frame you selected? Ordered some stuff on Monday, said it would be here at the latest on Friday, UPS tracking says only a shipping label has been created. /firstworldproblems

Was there a note on the item that suggested shipping might be delayed by a few days. I've seen that on some parts before.

When you don't get your stuff on time, you can call customer service and usually they'll give you a credit or something to make it up.

I've been running into that more and more. Plus there's nothing good on the Prime streaming and the price increase means I'm canceling.

Just because its 2-Day shipping doesn't mean its same day processing. I've found that some things may take 12-24 hours to process, and I get them in roughly 3 days from purchase. Still, its some of the fastest shipping relative to price. During the Christmas season it really can't be beat.

No note, and usually they are very quick with shipping. I got a bicycle delivered a day and half after ordering. You'd think an Amazon keyboard or pair of Under Armour spandex underwear would get here faster.

The only decent program they have on streaming is Workaholics.

If you need something quickly via Prime, always make sure it's through Amazon itself. As others have said, some sellers note that they need a few days for processing, Amazon processes what they're sending out almost immediately.

I've never understood the need for several days to process/pull an order …

do these com. not have full time staff in their warehouses ? or are that understaffed/ultra busy ?

The issue is that anyone can be a .com. Some Amazon vendors are just people in their basement. Others, like P&G for instance, have a dedicated Amazon processing facility right at their manufacturing site. Product comes off the production line, is packaged and sent directly to you same hour that you order it. They are listed as "fulfilled by Amazon" because people know that is the fastest method, but they are in fact even faster.

oh.. I understand that … I guess I was referring to com. that I know are huge (catalog companies) … sometimes it takes them a couple of days to process an order … as opposed to a place like TR that has the order out the door that same day
