Those things are myths, they don't actually exist. Bacon makes everything better. Turkey, chocolate, Fruity Pebbles, everything.

I know this looks and sounds disgusting but as a joke I wrapped bacon around a Cadbury Cream Egg (for bacon and eggs) and it was delicious-don't knock it until you have tried it-salty and sweet.
Do this with Newman-Os instead of Oreos, and drop the chip density in the cookie dough, and I'm down for this.
I'm one of those weird people that prefers my chocolate chip cookies only have 3 or 4 chips in them. If I wanted to eat a bunch of chocolate, I'd eat a chocolate bar, not a cookie (especially that trendy newish salted dark chocolate that everyone's cranking out...)
Here is a challenge:
Snickers Mini candy bar wrapped in peanut butter cookie and bacon.
Show me how it's done please!

Would you accept bacon in the peanut butter cookie, or are you looking for a discrete layer? Would you object to it being deep fried?
This is entirely doable.
I was thinking of baking up the baconin nice flat dry pieces, then placing the snickers on top of it then wrapping the whole thing in the peanut butter cookie dough...
Looks like I will be jumping off my diet this weekend ;)

That is one deadly statement right there. My arteries already hate you, and I haven't even made it yet.

But the point is you will... a LOT of us will...
I just got a new gas oven... gonna be a busy weekend.

I believe I may have mentioned before I have an awesome girlfriend. She has a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich mold/press thingy.

She also has a recipe for wrapping candy bars inside cookie dough, as in how to do so and retain candy bar integrity during baking.

How are Newman-O's in comparison?
And as for the chocolate chip cookies, I'm with you. My girlfriend makes cookie dough a lot, usually at about 2AM on a Tuesday while doing homework with our friends. She divides it into two bowls: A small one without any chips for her and I, and one with a lot of chips for everyone else.
