Where can I look for Wood Shop classes? It looks as if the local CC doesn't offer them.

I took Fine Woodworking I and II through the College of DuPage 20 years ago. If your cc has nothing; it will be tough.

Yeah this interests me too. Some wood hobby shops will have classes for specific type projects. Other than that community college is the only option I saw

same here......ours even had a "build an acoustic guitar" class. I'd love to do that.

There is a woodworkers guild in KC. They have tools and facilities, and lots of interested people. You should check your area to see if something similar exists.

If the local cc doesn't offer them, the local school system may. Look for adult education or continuing education. I took an autobody class like that in VA and painted my Mini there.
