1:44am 4/4/09 My wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Named Eloise.

The baby came 2+ weeks early on its due date and it was fairly difficult but all is now well. My wife didn't have any real contractions for a while.. We went to the doctor then went home and tried walking and showers and blah blah blah.. It's been a long day. Ended up inducing but no matter the baby's pink and happy.

For those in the area, we're at St. Francis In W. Ashley.

Now wheres that link for the modded pink powerwheels barbie jeep?

I need some bed.

congratulations! It was just a year or two ago I had a boy and somehow he is now an 18 year old man looking square into my eyes. What happened?

She helped strip the car and I showed her how to spray paint.

Ahhh, the adventure of Daddyhood begins. I think I remember it. Little girls are so special. Then, a few years (weeks?) later they can rip your heart out when they take up with some worthless bum. But then, no mortal man is good enough for her. A few weeks later, you're a Grandpa, and all is right with the world and that worthless bum turns out to be OK. I hope it works out like that for you, it did for me.

The birth of my Son was, without a doubt, the proudest moment of my life.

Make sure you take care of Momma.

+99 billion on taking care of Momma. Her life has just become a lot more intense. This is the time when Real Men prove themselves. The worthless bum that married my daughter turned out to a strong, nurturing , and supportive Father. Changed my opinion of him completely. Still love him 23 years later.

Congrats. We had our first just over two months ago. Still waiting for the bugger to sleep through the night. So is it just me or does that Maconium stuff remind you of brake grease? Be thankful you don't have to deal with getting your kid circumcised. I'm not sure how my boy lived through it, I was in pain just watching. They make a tool for everything these days.

My only tip that may or may not work for you. My wife and I take shifts. My wife sleeps from 8pm to 1 or 2 am. During that time I'm on point. If he cries its my problem. If he sleeps I can try to sleep during that time. Wifey is in a separate room so she can sleep. If she is in ear shot, she won't sleep. Wife goes on point around 1am, and I get to sleep until 7am. Seems to work well for both of us.

My other advice is similar to the old adage about a car that won't run....it's either, air, fuel or spark. If a baby cries, its either, Food, Diaper or sleep/comfort.

Congrats and good luck. Just go with the flow and enjoy it.

woah dude

LOL jk...Had to ..couldnt help it.

Congrats to all the "pink mini-version" stories. I have been married for 18 month now, and my wife, family, friends, co-workers, car club guys and the lady at starbucks all want to know when Im gonna make my contribution to the population. Some of the stories here make that dive a little less scary...although I think its kinda like experimental brain surgery...youre never quite ready. But if I can dive headfirst into modern EFI modification, I guess the billion year old practice of makin bacon cant be that hard to do right?

Hmm. Maybe she's a reincarnation of my grandfather (died 4/4/04). If so, watch out! She's going to be a bad-ass!

Congratulations!

I know I was freaked out. Wife had a c-section. So the wife was put in recovery for 2+ hours, while I'm alone with my boy in the hospital room. No clue what to do, but sit an look in wonderment. Felt bad for the wife as she couldn't be with him right off. Cute little girl Ignorant. Think my boy could take her to the prom in about 16-17 years? I promise he'll be a gentleman.
