I took a gravity reading and it was 1.015. I decided that I didn't have a whole lot of time this week so I started bottling today.
This morning I picked up a second 5 gallon bucket and siphoned from the bottling bucket I fermented in and let it sit. Then I siphoned back into the bottling bucket. I think it helped to clear up some of the gunk a little better.
All in all I think the process has been rather fun. Definitely will do it again as long as the fruits of my labor provide a decent return.
Again, thanks to everyone for all the help!

Hess- It's been a while since I did the Mensa thing, but one thing for sure, those people do know how to party. Especially the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami groups. Give it a shot, I'm sure you qualify.
Well another report. My wife and I were invited to a friends house for a beer tasting. Guess what I brought? Guess what won!?
Yep, my homebrew. This was my prize too!
Good to hear inspirational stories, my bonus just came in and I have $383 sitting around and an urge to start with home brew

DO IT! DO IT NOW!
The fun part has been having the neighbors over to help and drink. Good way to make friendships.
$383 is PLENTY to start. Nothing like drinking a beer you made. Bud/Miller/Coors doesn't make what you want? Make your own. Grassroots beer
