Another problem with eating an old pet horse is that some of the meds they get during their life aren't traceable and could be potentially pretty awful for you.

Healthy as a horse comes at a price.

Im no Andrew Zimmer, but I will try anything. I like sushi. I dont like the taste of Northern Pike. I worked in a die shop with some guys from Laos. An other coworker raised pigeons. He asked if any one wanted some (as pets). Later on , guy asks how pigeons are doing ? Guy from Laos said " they were great" or so the story goes. They also ate raw pork. We tried to talk them out of that.

I porked a raw chick from Laos once. It was pretty good.
