I miss ECW when it came on at around 1 or 2 am back in the day. When it went mainstream I lost interest. RVD

My wife and a friend were staying at a spa in AZ last year. They were hanging out at the pool on day and Chyna shows up in the smallest bikini. They had no idea who she was, but figured it out with some googling. Other than that, my dad once shared an elevator with Rick Flair in a Marriott. That's all I've got.
Back in the 60s-70s I was still living in Quebec. "Andre the Giant" was known as 'the giant, Jean Ferre" then. He was the good guy and his nemesis was Mad Dog Vachon and his brother, Paul "The Butcher" Vachon. One Saturday night I happen to be going to the local Legion ,which is right next to the hockey arena. There was a wrestling card at the arena and a Lincoln Continental pulls up and parks in the small VIP area. From the passenger side Vachon gets out and struts into the arena. You could easily hear the chorus of boos from the street. Two minutes later the driver's door opens and out climbs the Giant, damn he was big!. He enters the arena to cheers ,of course. The two "mortal enemies" had driven from Montreal together.
A wrestler named "The Great Antonio" used to post bills in my mother's tobacco shop to get the crowds out. His gig was wrestling a black bear. Once he was in the store talking to my father and I wandered out to the sidewalk. There, in the front seat of his Cadillac was the bear ! He would always buy a candy bar and a bag of chips for it.
