WTF is BTC?

I keep seeing these signs: "Were BTC Because of Me!"

It might be local politics or a religious stance on something, but I haven't figured it out. It's those lawn signs similar to political signs, but are only black and white. I try not to litter my lawn with signs.

Anyone got a clue? Maybe its better off I don't know.

Brain Tumor Center?

Where are you?

British Touring Car?

Because They Can is a band.

That make sense?

You guys make me LOL. I've seen the signs in Ferguson, MO (neighboring municipality to Florissant, where I live), but have seen window stickers, too.

If you hit google, there's also a "Blessed Teresa of Calcutta" parish yard sale next week.

I'm all for that BTC.

Only BTC I know about is the abbreviation of BitCoin...and the guys who trade in it are mostly idiots.

Shortly after I converted, many catholic churches in the area, due to a shortage of money, had to combine and shut down certain churches. A lot of people were upset to lose their church and this is in the St John & James area. Likely these people were unhappy with the church they were sent and decided to go to BTC. They are proud, I guess and want to advertise it. I don't get it, but right on. I was expecting something political, so this is much better to see. Their not trying to convince me or convert me, so I can support. If they are trying to convert me, they need to come up with a new play, because I had to look it up.
