Somebody wants to sell me a polo shirt. The sizing chart looks like this:

Sizing: Medium Large X-Large XXL

Length 30" 31" 31.5" 32"

Widge 22" 24" 26" 28"

(Well, the spacing is better, but you get the idea.)

Anyway, I've been wearing polo shirts for a long time, and speaking English for even longer than that, and I have no idea what information is being conveyed by the last line here. Anybody know what "widge" means?

Typo of width?

If the shirt was made in England, I feel horribly inadequate.

Widge

You'd have to be quite a few stones to need a 28" widge I'd wager.
