WWII buffs--a friend is doing a docu on the Nuremberg raid

Not a canoe--more of a favor for a dear friend:

My friend Mike is in the beginning phases of putting a documentary together on the Nuremberg raid. I'm not a war buff, but it seems interesting.

An interesting point about this from my perspective. I am pretty knowledgeable about WWII and particularly WWII aviation, and I don't remember reading / seeing anything about the Nuremberg Raid, which just makes it more interesting to me.

Of course, I was never a big fan of the English bombing campaign. It seemed to me to be more civilian terrorism then strategic bombing. I mean, heck, with the Norden bombsight and daylight, the US still had a hard time hitting rather large buildings (I think the circular error probability was around 200 yards)

Cool stuff. I find it intriguing to hear the accounts and stories from outside the usual sources and locations. My neighbor fought in serbia and got to spend some quality time in a german prison camp.
