Does anyone here do this? I have set up a league for members of the various boards I frequent, and GRMers are more than welcome to join.

I'm up for it. There was a pick'em type league a couple of years ago someone started up that I bailed on. I am willing to be committed to doing one for the season(pick'em or a team style).
I am used to using Yahoo for football but I can't find the rules. Can you paste them here? Is there a draft or is it just pick your drivers kinda thing?

There are three catagory blocks based on performance. Group A is top tier drivers, B is midpack, C is bottom feeders. Each week you pick one A, two B and one C list driver to start, and the same amount to sit on the bench. You can change up until Thursday, after which you can only switch starter and bench drivers between themselves. Top further complicate things, you can start any driver no more than 9 times all season.
Damn, that sounds berkleying more complicated than it really is...
I got it. That's why there is a 9 next to everyone. Sounds like alot more planning involved than just set your line up and go all season. I like it.
^ Exactly.
Hint: don't "waste" picking someone who's good on most tracks at a crapshoot like Daytona
I set my line up a few weeks back. Since this is Daytona, where luck matters more than anything else, I tend not to "waste" picks on those with enough talent to have good finishes anywhere else. That being said, I've got Danica as my C group starter.
Well, I am in 4th. Not too shabby.
Only thing I don't like is that you have to set your lineup before qualifying or even practices. So it is all about previous seasons(only 1 with the 6th gen car) and rookies are a crap shoot.
But with that said, I had fun last race. Between this league and our bets we have at work, it's gonna be a fun season.
I did alright. Probably close to the top five myself. And I am glad I saw this when I did, as I have to get this week's team in order.
For the first few races, yeah, you have to guess or look at last year for ideas, but once the season starts rolling along it gets easier to predict who is good on what sort of tracks. I try to save most of my Jimmie picks for the Chase, as that is the only time that team seems to try hard.
