It was hilarious, little old lady screaming out the window with the obligatory bird, I couldn't help but laugh at her. It was even a Buick.

The more amusing thing is Bob was hit in the rear by a vibe......you just can't make that E36 M3 up.

As of this year, I have 20 years of experience in commuting from one Chicago suburb to another. I've determined that there are 3 distinct groups on the road:

  1. Trucks
  2. People who are nervous about everything happening around them (ex: guy with flat tire? Brake! Trucks merging? Get as far left as possible and brake!)
  3. People who think they are in the Road Warrior

Also, everybody hates everybody else and would slice each other's throats in a second.

You got the think part wrong. I AM the The Road Warrior.

Well, now the rest of us know who we're chasing!

"What a puny plan!"

The first car accident I was involved in was a Ford Probe rear ending me.

You think IL drivers are bad?!

Spend a day driving in Massachusetts. After that you'll think Chicago drivers are nice and courteous!

^^^ Sorry about the hit and run crappy experience. I've had pretty good luck in the midwest (not to say I haven't encountered some first-rate asshats) I've found the MA to be the worst, followed by Atlanta and L.A.

I actually drove from Indianapolis to Rockford IL on Sunday night, towing a 35 foot trailer. Besides some strong cross-winds and heavy rain, it was pretty pleasant.

Crappy drivers (and people) are everywhere though...... YMMV.

I drove in all of those, although I'd place them in a different order with LA being the worst traffic.

I'm not sure you can call what LA has as "traffic". I thought cars had to be moving to be called that.
