GRM's newest wrench-spinner, Stig Kilmer Schroeder was born at 0111 this morning (Wednesday, 8/6/08). The little monster weighed in at 9 lbs, 4 ounces. Kim and the baby are doing just fine!

Congrats. I can't believe you really named him Stig, those are some big shoes to fill. No pressure kid...now get in the kart! ;)

You should really try to get in touch with the guys at Top Gear, I'm sure they'd love to know about your baby boys new name! Plus it'd be cool to have them mention that on air.
Wouldn't want people thinking he is named after TopGear Stig, though, when it's way cooler that he's named after Stig Blomquist.
Oh, and Congratulations!
Congratulation to you and your bride. There is nothing greater on earth, or scarier. You walk around and think your a foot taller, and with one little sound...your flat on the floor like a lump of jello. God Bless
Such a proud papa--I came here to post that Stig had arrived, and here Per already beat me to it... despite the fact he's only had about 3 hours of sleep in the last 72.
Congrats, Per!!! Now go to sleep--we have a lot to do at work today!
Margie (who's kidding, of course)
Congrats Per. My Carmen came in at 9.3 the first thing one of the nurse's said was "thats a big but" they thought the delivering a 7.5 baby. Carmen is 4 now and taller then eny of the other kids in her class.
Some say he was born dirrectly in to a kart. all we know is he is the Stig (and his parents are Per and Margie)
Hey, congratulations you three! Glad to hear all are doing fine. Hopefully little Stiggy will grow up enough like you to make you happy and enough different to make you proud.
Ooh, yeah, Kim is the mommy. More accurately, after 72 hours of labor Kim is THE mommy. She has my undying respect.
Margie
72 hours...
Geez.... Give that lady some sleep..
Congrats. When do you start selling GRM One-sie's? I'll buy one. (don't have kid, but plan on it some day, I think..)
Congratulations! Now go get some sleep. Better get a lot; the next twenty years or so are going to involve quite a bit of sleeplessness for various reasons.
Congrats, so, will the kid be in a Cart once he is big enough to wear the smallest availible helmet(saftey first!)?
You'll need to log in to post.
