Yeah.
Don't get that E36 M3 on your skin.
I don't think i've been this miserable in a long time. Not because it hurts, burns, itches, or any of those things.
But merely because i hate having E36 M3 stuck to me.
I tried:
Water
Straight mineral spirits
Straight nail polish remover
Sticker/adhesive remover out of an aerosol can
Soaking my hands in soapy water for an hour and a half.
And i've showered and scrubbed with a manly Axe body detail with the harsh scrub side.
No luck. I'm going to look like a burn victim for a week i think.
Wear gloves and a full bio-suit when working with that stuff.
I have not found anything that takes it off. I have work clothes that it's been stuck on for years. They make a different formula that comes off a little easier. It doesn't expand as much though.
Pumice soap? Hand cleaner? Ajax or Comet or similar scouring cleanser?
Polyurethane for the win. One of the best adhesive in the world. Gloves are a must, preferable a pair you can throw away.
The good thing, it will wear of in a couple of days.
BTDT
I got some on my hands once and it took roughly a week before it wore off.
The only good thing about this is that the big hole in my trunk is now filled.
That stuff is hydrophobic but it still holds on to moisture fairly well. Not something I would use in a car that I wanted to keep from rusting.
Oh yeah, just be a man and rip it off. You don't need all those layers of skin anyway

I wanted less road noise and water flung into the trunk from the rear wheels. i figure nobody will ever buy this thing so i fixed it like that.
I was expecting "don't get it on yer hootus !"

Ugh, I'm with you. Dunno if it's OCD or something, but I go ballistic with stuff like that.
Crazy glue is the worst.
I've actually tried to sand that stuff off my fingers.

I can't remember if Great Stuff is cross-linked or not. I think it is; only time/removing your skin will take it off.

Will it burn off? I take no responsibility for any injuries that result.

I dunno, but apparently the OP put it all up in his trunk hole.

That mac & cheese from the other thread would probably have done just as good a job.
In reply to Apis_Mellifera:
Nope, didn't.
Whatever you do, don't get it on your Ferret. Mine walked into a chimney we were sealing and got a big glob right on his head. Had to shave the poor fellow to get it off.

If you don't own one, you can't understand.
So that explains the cryptic text message I got earlier.....
