If I ever came close to pissing my pants as an adult it was watching a Pink Panther movie
Slap Shot, Caddy Shack, and Blues Brothers take the top three for me, no question.
Then behind those three, there is Galaxy Quest, Blazing Saddles, Airplane, and Dr. Strangelove.
Here are a couple of oldies (I'm leaving out the car-related comedies this time around).
Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) (Classic from even before my time. Young folks won't likely get the TR references.)
Dark Star (1974) (Sci-fi with the greatest THEME SONG ever!)
In addition to the EPIC comedies already posted I submit:
Super Troopers
Friday
40YO Virgin
Waterboy
Wedding Singer

Wedding Singer is an all time classic, but the Waterboy didn't hold up. Pretty much nothing by Sandler but the Wedding Singer held up.
I don't understand anyone like Zombieland. I thought that was terrible. But most of the other movies list here I do agree with.
Dumb and Dumber Anchorman Talledaga Nights Army of Darkness Young Frankenstein Hot Shots (both) Top Secret Super Troopers
Ok I will admit it. I just don't get super troopers. I have tried to watch it 3 times. The first I fell asleep 30 min in. The other times I just stared at the screen wondering what was supposed to be so damn funny about it.
Superbad!
I remember seeing that in theaters, and when the penis drawings came on I about split a rib.

What? Zombieland was an amazing film. I was laughing like crazy! What a cool film.

Unfortunately, your opinion is wrong...lol. I have always been a fan of Sandlers work. His stuff has changed lately, but thats bc hes not a 23 yo kid anymore. I will say I liked his older stuff better than his stuff lately, but really, im still a big fan. I guess I just "get" his humor. Billy and Happy are way up there on my list too, they were just already posted.
So many good ones to choose from! 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Holy Grail' are at the top of my list but 'Paul' had me snorting. 'It's probin' time!' 'You're new to this whole cussing thing, aren't you?'

Agreed. I love it. But is it a really a comedy?

I would call it a dark comedy.
