Honest I was writing all this out whist this was posted above ^^^ But yeah that is the van.
-
2012 Mustang GT Covertible for SWMBO (get that out of the way first)
-
Lotus Elise with sport package set up for track use.
-
Porshe Carrera 4 Cabriolet
-
2012 GMC Savana Fullsize Van with 6.0 or 2011 Econoline with the V-10 add pop up roof for overhead sleeping and possibly 4wd for traction.
-
Something with 4 doors and comfort but fun to drive, M3, M5, C63AMG, RS4, CTS-V, IS-F, would have to give them all a try and pick the one I liked best.

I already own 2 of them -
1) My '67 LeMans ragtop, sent to my pals at Christiana Musclecars for a complete frame off restoration with a few minor factory-based updates: front discs with power assist, TH350 instead of the Powerglide, 4-barrel carb instead of the deuce, and headers/duals. I'd keep the bench seat and column shifter.
2) The Manic Miata, rebuilt on a rust-free '94 tub instead of the current '96. I'd probably do most of this myself in my hypothetical new lift-equipped shop, just transferring the existing parts over and spending some real quality time de-POing the wiring harness and vacuum plumbing. I'd probably buy an FM crate motor for it and rebuild the existing one as a training exercise. Rivet-on flares and 3 sets of 15x9 6ULs, shod for street, autocross, and track.
Now we move on to the new additions, where the cut gets tougher:
3) M3C or S-4 Cab for the missus, with DSG, whichever she likes driving better. I'd love to put her in a snazzy, comfortable convertible.
4) CTS-V wagon with a 3-pedal manual for my DD. There are actually cars I want more than that, but I'd be eager to reward Cadillac for making it in the first place.
5) is the toughy. I'd love a Caterham R500 Superlight, but if the Miata was properly done, that would almost be redundant. Something to tow with would be nice. A 911 Cab doesn't paddle my canoe as my only fun car, but if I could DD it in the summer with a real sports car for competition, that would be cool. I'd have to leave that slot open and fill it after 6 months or a year to show what the shortcomings in the fleet were.
1 - Ferrari F40 GLE (dream car)
2 - McLaren F1 (twin turbo it to piss people off)
3 - H1 With Predator Motorsports Duramax 750 conversion (to haul kids)
4 - Aston Martin DB9 (for pimpin da hoze)
5 - RS200 (cuz I loves em')

If I get rich, I will buy something awesome and strikingly beautiful, that is not the usual popular thing. Compared to a car like this, an Aston Martin is common.
I'll take mine in cream and red:

Mrs. Oldtin needs something to haul the hounds in...
Just cause it's sexy
That's it. I'd keep the MG GT for track fun
I think you guys are a little bit boring in that you've taken the time to think about this. I'd buy the first 5 cool cars I saw. Wouldn't it be more fun to buy that awesome craigslist find that someone posted here than to buy cars from a list you keep in your back pocket?

No.
Wouldn't it be more awesome to stalk that elusive lion in the savanna than to just take down the first five big wildabeast that you saw?
I guess I'd expect to own many more than 5 cars after winning a huge jackpot.
Then again, I think I'd rather have a place to use my CL buys than have 5 great cars I have to drive on public streets, if you know what I'm getting at ;)
I also think I would have a lot more than 5 cars if I had that kind of money, I mainly picked the ones I did because they are cars I would like driving. I would have more fun daily driving a Citroen SM, Maserati Quattroporte and a Ferrari 400i (or similar, like a 450SEl 6.9, V12 Jag, etc) than having a $100K+ track toy though.

For every day slogging:
Modern track days:
Vintage track days:
To satisfy the "car I've not owned and a good one is gonna cost money"
And finally, the selection for those rare times when I feel the need to assert my alpha male and show the Dodge diesel pickups with the plastic balls hanging under them that they are just compensating:
Hmm,mine would be:
1) Some thing for the GF, probly a cross over....Even though I would make fun of it.
2) A 1970 ACVW, I miss my ol'beetle
3) Mk1 gti, always wanted one
4) E39 M5...I have wanted one ever sense I work on a 540i when I was doing autobody repair
5) 1965 356sc Porsche, this would be the acvw older brother and some thing it could aspire to be
