I would swear that when I set up my Youtube account that it asked me if I wanted to display more video options (other people's videos) at the end of my video. I checked NO, because it's mostly a business account that goes to selected people, but I still get other people's videos.

Was I dreaming all that or is there really a way and how do I do that?

Wow, this appears to be one of the very rare occasions that GRM's collective brain trust has turned up nothing.

I realize that when you see this thread bumped you will have a little hope that someone has answered your question. Therefore, I do apologize for being misleading.

I'm no guru but I don't believe you can disable related videos in youtube. I didn't see any option for it in my account settings. I have also never seen a video on youtube that didn't have related videos.

When you are embedding the video on your page, usually you will click the 'share' button at the bottom of the video on youtube. It then gives you the code or address to link to the video. To exclude the related videos, click on 'share', then click 'embed' and uncheck the box under that, that says 'include other related videos.'

That apparently is the answer.

I remembered checking that I didn't want to "include other related videos" and thought that meant even when it's watched on YouTube but apparently that's only when it's embedded.

Now another question, even if the video is private will related videos show when watched on YT? Or is it just that mine won't show on other people's related list?
