I'm not a Chevy guru; is that the ones recommended for switching to 1.6:1 rockers on a bone stock 94 B body (iron headed) LT1 350?
if so, I'm interested!

In reply to 03Panther :

Doesn't look like it's recommended for lt1 heads because of differences in mass of the valvetrains. Everything in the LS is much lighter

I'll take the other set assuming Panther passes.

The 350 in my '89 Chevy is running LS2/LS6 valvesprings on untouched Vortec heads. The Comp Cams 787-16 retainers required to run these on a Chevy give a little more clearance allowing you to run up to .530" lift with umbrella seals. They're about 10% stiffer than the factory springs.

Might have been during the forum update when the email was messed up.

Could have sworn we had each other's email though.

I haven't pm'd as I don't know if they fit. I have one no, and one sorta yes, but not sure if that was a yes, or not.
Im a decent wrench, but valve train ain't my wheelhouse.
if they will work on my stock cam, LT1 Iron (94) heads, without a ton of modifications needed, I'm in on a set.

The price is cheap enough to take a chance. I paid $71 for my springs in 2017. If I had any set of SBC heads that needed rebuilt, I'd already have sent a PM.

Sorry, when i looked things up it said they're not a good fit for an sbc so I moved to someone else. I didn't want to sell you something i didn't feel would work for you. If I get any more or some good sbc ones i will let you know before anyone else. Trying to only post stuff of interest on here but I have a ton of stuff in my ebay store that may be of use, and anything on there anybody here wants let me know and we'll do it off ebay and I will discount you their fees. Have like 300 things to list soon between buying bulk at auctions and cleaning out my personal hoard.

No worries! I'm glad you think that way, as I'm not sure. I've read both ways, and now is not a time to experiment, and I don't have time to do the correct research! Gotta focus on my car, or the truck and camper

(haven't found a campground in Homestead FL with an open spot, and Air B&B doesn't play well with my +/- 2 week end of contract date!)
