I said I'd take it, but just realized that yellow, I think, means for karts.    If it happens to work for cars on road courses, I'll take it. but if it's for karts, i can't use it.

I use a yellow one in my racecar.  I have for the past 10 years or so.

Supposedly they won't read above a certain speed (120kmh or 75mph) but plenty of lemons racers use them. Then again they're not pushing speeds that a c6 z06 would likely be doing. The speed only matters over the timing loop itself not over the whole lap. 

I heard some champcar teams using them as well, but I only have expierence with using them for kart racing.
