3:1 ratio custom tube steel ruggles scales set. Made from 1″x1/8″ steel tubing. Platforms are 12" x 12" x 1/4″ plate steel with welded rear wheel stops. HD roller wheels and roller bearings on scale side for accuracy without binding. 4 matching manual bathroom scales with pressure pads of 3/16″ plate steel.
max weight is 3600 lbs(scales max out at 3960/330each); recommended weight is 1000 lbs – 3200 lbs (3:1 ratio)
Having pro scales to direct compare I can say these will get exact same results as pro scales. These were my personal corner balance scales for the first few years. Built to last. Have an excel sheet I use for easier setup that I won't mind sharing with the scales.

It's amphibious!
And very, very quick!
Although I highly doubt it's watertight, I do believe that it would be quick!
I will be in durham in two weeks and would be interested. Maps says its 3 hours away, goodness gracious is NC bigger than it seems. Any chance you could knock an hour off that trip for me?
Are those tubular trailing arms?

Hey Gents. E21 is a father son project. Built the entire car ourselves. I made the tube suspension using sprint car / dirt track parts. All QA1 heims/sphericals. Modeled after the e30m3 1992 dtm rear trails but homemade. Basically did what the early dtm cars did. Drop the chassis over the drivetrain. Lowered the rear roll center and raising the front.
Motor is full 2.3L using S14 bottom end. Custom JE pistons. 294TEP camshaft, 38/38 downdraft weber. Steel KM rocker arms. Trying a few other cams but wait times lately are getting longer these days.
Funny about the amphibious part. Start of season testing recently rolled the car into a river Feb this year. Just rebuilt the front. Videos/details in the build thread.
