In reply to 02Pilot :
No need to apologize, but thanks for the heads up.
Dug out a couple more things:
- A bunch of Mahle OX41D oil filters (~8) plus a couple Bosch equivalent. These fit the BMW M30 engine. I'd like to think I'll own another, but that seems unlikely in the near term, so they go.
- Raybestos PGD431M semi-metallic front brake pads for 5.0 Fox body Mustang. NIB.
- Holley 20-13 spring kit for vacuum secondary carb. Open, may be missing some bits, but still several springs in there.
All the items listed so far are still available, except for the E36 springs which will be leaving soon. All free, you pay shipping. Any questions let me know. This stuff needs to go away so I can reclaim my shelves, and if nobody grabs it before April it's going to the dump.
I'd love the oil filters! Shipped to 92029.... email me for info and payment. Username at yahoo
and if the springs fall through, I'd still love the front set!

OK, they're yours. I'll see how they fit in Priority Mail flat-rate boxes - I suspect that will be the easiest way to get them cross-country.
I'll take the Holley carb spring kit. Want to hold them until end of the clean out in case I want other stuff?
In reply to 02Pilot :
Sounds good. A regular box would probably be cheaper, but whatever is easiest for you!
just let me know how to get you the $$ and how to get you the mailing address
In reply to psteav (Forum Supporter) :
I don't see why not. I just have to get to the post office and grab some boxes, then I can start figuring costs for the claimed items. Stand by.
In reply to 02Pilot :
FYI, you can go to the USPS website and have them delivered, for free, with your mail.
Got the boxes and figure it what fits in what. Contacted both requestors by PM. Will be posting some additional stuff soon.
Update time. Few items listed above still available: VW rotors, Fox Mustang brake shoes. psteav didn't reply to my email, so I'll give it another 48 hours - if there's still no response, the E39 bits will be up for grabs too.
New stuff:
- Mopar bits from my 73 Challenger. T'stat, voltage regulator, ignition box.
- 5 bags of 4 (20 total) 1/2" standard mag lug nuts w/ washers.
- Valve cover gasket set for 2000-2005 2.2l Ecotec.
- Badly worn (chewed?!) but complete Haynes manual and inop tachometer for Volvo P1800. Tach may be rebuildable, but I don't know.
Not much left on the shelf I'm currently clearing, but you never know what might turn up.
Sorry, I missed your email on the E39 stuff. Paypal coming your way.
FWIW, I'll take the Mopar stuff too if no one else has called it!
I'll take the tach... not sure what I will do with it, but it looks cool!

In reply to psteav (Forum Supporter) :
OK, let me make sure the Mopar stuff will fit in the same box. If not I'll update you on the shipping.
In reply to BFH_Garage :
Let me figure out what box it will fit in and I'll send you a PM with shipping costs.
In reply to shagles :
Here you go. As I think I mentioned, they're not structurally compromised, and the only operational issue is the chrome flaking off one front piston. For Challenge or Lemons use they'd be fine, at least for a while.
In reply to 02Pilot :
I was thinking about putting new inserts in them for my daily but the housings are more rusty than i want to deal with. I'm spoiled in the south. Thanks for getting a picture though.
Sorry for the delay. E39/Mopar stuff and P1800 tach boxed and ready to go. psteav, I need your shipping address. BFH_Garage, I emailed you with shipping costs.
You'll need to log in to post.
